Whole of House Extensions

We take on Construction Projects, taking them from the ideas you have in your head, all the way through to you opening the new front door after construction is complete.
These projects can range from:
-- A new garage
-- A 30 sq.m. kitchen extension
-- A Dormer loft conversion
-- A new L Shape extension that can wrap around your existing house (space permitting).

If you wish to discuss your concept, call us and we will produce a concept drawing which if you like it, we can then produce architectural plans and structural drawings as a specification, according to your needs, and submit these as a planning application.  We can handle all the interactions with the Planning Directorate.

Kitchens Bathrooms

Customers come to us with quite particular requests and sometimes this can stretch us, but we always end up delivering what the customer wants.
Kitchen projects can include:
-- Fitting new kitchen units
-- Replacing the Oven/Hob with more efficient new units
-- Replacing the whole kitchen
-- Installing a kitchen island to separate areas 
-- Integrating the kitchen with a dining room or area

The same applies for bathrooms.
We have been asked to install whirlpool baths, steam showers, a combination of the two, as well as normal power showers.

When the Central Heating is included we will factor in the whole of house heating requirements and install a system capable of supplying to this.

Garden Office Annex

With space in the home being at a premium we have seen an increase in requests for construction of a separate building in the garden to house an office.
This can become quite elaborate and range from a single large room to a Block split internally into:
-- 1 large meeting room
-- 2 or more smaller syndicate rooms for groups of 2 - 5
-- hived off kitchenette area
-- 1 or 2 cubicle toilets

The benefits for having a Garden Office are many:
-- separating work from home
-- secure area for work records and data storage
-- confidentiality for sensitive conversations or group work
-- privacy when conducting business

Renovations Inside and Outside

We have the capability and are frequently asked to:
-- Remove the leaky flat roof and replace it with a new rubberised surface which is more resistant to the weather extremes and is especially suitable for large surfaces
-- Convert the empty cold and draughty attic into a liveable room or a large storage room
-- Install new insulation as protection against the high energy bills we are all increasingly facing.  Our preference is to build a new outer wall of rigid foam insulation blocks which are fixed in place and then covered with a layer of final render, painted to a very nice finish.
-- Change the layout at the front or the rear of the house, by installing a new patio
-- replace the guttering fascias and soffits
-- lay a new driveway of block paving

Producing Full Building Plans

We can take your initial ideas, produce an initial design, get your feedback, made amendments and produce a final design, which will include all the design drawings required for it to be built, after going through the planning application where this is necessary.

We can handle all aspects of this.

Completing the House Build

We take a project from inception through to final delivery to the customer. 

We build the foundations, walls, floors, roof(s), install all the electrics, central heating system(s), attic conversion, new kitchen, extra storage areas and a new garage (or two, single double or triple capacity as required).
We can also landscape the gardens.

Bathrooms

This is one example of a completed bathroom installation.  The walls were designed and built from the ground up with the tiles being the customer's choice.

In this instance the customer wanted a full bath without a shower enclosure above it, and that is what they got, along with the heated towel rail you can see on the right.

Bedroom Fitted Furniture

We designed this wall to wall range of wall cupboards and presented it to the customer and they liked it.

The central piece features 4 sliding draws below the centre space kept open for a TV, and above which is a storage cupboard.  One either side are a set each of a single and a double wardrobe.

This picture is an expansion of the previous one which showed the single and a double wardrobes on either side of the central piece.

Here we have opened the doors to show the custom designed interiors of the single and double wardrobes.  There are fixed deep shelves, a varying number of sliding draws, with lots of space for hanging suits and clothes.

Custom Designed Kitchen with Island

Here we show a kitchen that was designed around the wishes of the customer who wanted something really unique and which they could feel really proud of.

We had each piece uniquely produced, tested them out and then installed them in line with the design drawings that the customer had approved.

We think it looks really good.

Bedroom Fitted Furniture

This picture is an expansion of the previous one which showed the customer designed kitchen.

In this picture we show the island without the fitted worktop, and with the draws open to give you an idea of how space there is within them.  It is quite a lot and provides them with plenty of storage options.  They were over the moon when they saw it.

Living Room Fitted Furniture

This is just one example of a large customer designed living room furniture set.  We produced the design, after listening to them describe the purpose within this living space. 
They wanted ambience (hence the special lighting), curiosity (the two contrasting background colours) and a neutral colour frontage (grey pattern) that complemented their range of sofas. 
We also fitted the floor tiles and underfloor heating.

A Porch

We also design and install porches to a high quality.

This picture shows a porch that has been started and is under construction, with the ground preparation having been completed, enabling the sides and front panels to be put in situ.

Once finished, it provided this customer with a place to put shoes, plants and shield from external noise.

A Shower in a Cloakroom

We design and install internal showers within a cloakroom to a high quality.  This picture is only part of the picture.  In this house we used the space very cleverly to build a fully enclosed shower cubicle, as well as a sink/handbasin and toilet.

The walls were fully tiled from floor to ceiling all the way around.  An electric fan was fitted which came on with the light and stayed on for a short while after it was switched off.
